The athletic frame of the 2017 Mazda3 sees some subtle updates, but they effectively elevate the vehicle's KODO - Soul of Motion design. Some of the exterior tweaks include the addition of a bolder grille, redesigned rear bumper on hatchback models and available LED headlights & taillights.
8 Available Exterior Colors
A total of 8 body colors are available for the Mazda3, including two new colors for 2017 model: Machine Gray Metallic and Eternal Blue Mica. Thanks to Mazda's evolved TAKUMINURI painting technique, the new Machine Gray Metallic body color gives the impression as if it were carved from a solid ingot of steel.
Refined Interior Offers Unexpected Level of Distinction
Inside the cabin of the 5-passenger 2017 Mazda3, you will find a redesigned leather-wrapped steering wheel that enhances grip, and available perforated black or almond-colored leather seating surfaces with available heating elements. Additional interior enhancements include an electronic parking brake that comes standard equipment and additional increased storage space.
G-Vectoring Control (GVC)
Mazda's new-generation lineup is designed to offer "Jinba Ittai" – the symbolic relationship developed over time by a horse and driver – the Mazda3 and its driver are in perfect harmony. The new Mazda3 features G-Vectoring Control (GVC), the first in a series of new SKYACTIV®-VEHICLE DYNAMICS technologies that uses the engine in conjunction with the steering, throttle inputs and suspension to provide sharper chassis control, leading to a need for fewer steering corrections and greater driver- and passenger-confidence.
