Design:
The all-new 2016 Mazda CX-9 offers the grandest expression of Mazda's KODO — Soul of Motion design, with its elevated front fascia that cascades into crisp lines that flow to the rear. Large wheels and short overhangs convey stability and offers an athletic stance. Stretching the wheelbase 2.2 inches allows for extended rear passenger leg room, as well as making it easier for rear seat passengers to enter and exit the vehicle.


The Mazda CX-9 is a true family vehicle that offers three rows of seating that can comfortably accommodate seven passengers, as well as cargo.

Designed to make CX-9 look as though it were carved from a single ingot of steel, new for 2016, the Mazda CX-9 offers its newest signature color, Machine Gray. Additional available exterior colors will be Soul Red, Snowflake White Pearl, Sonic Silver, Jet Black, Deep Crystal Blue and Titanium Flash.

Performance:
SKYACTIV Technology allows the structure of the 2016 CX-9 to remain light, yet rigid, offering agile handling, tight steering and a more responsive and controllable powertrain. At the heart of the three-row crossover if a new turbocharged SKYACTIV-G 2.5T engine that increases fuel-efficiency 20 percent, making CX-9 among the most efficient vehicles in its class.

Technology:
The Mazda CONNECT infotainment and suite is designed around a distraction-free experience that still allows users to stream music, make hands-free calls and use other internet-based applications. The 2016 Mazda CX-9 offers a 7-inch or 8-inch touchscreen that is easily navigated using Bluetooth, commander control knob, or the touchscreen itself. The Mazda CONNECT infotainment system combined with the available full-color 4.6-inch screen gauges, along with a full-color head-up display projected onto the lower part of the windshield offer the driver a focused driving experienced.

Safety:
i-ACTIV AWD technology uses a host of sensors to recognize road conditions and wheel slip, then transfers power between front and rear when necessary to maintain control. The Mazda CX-9 i-ACTIVSENSE suite features a host of safety features including; Advanced Blind Spot Monitoring (ABSM), Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC), Lane-Keep Assist System (LAS) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW), High Beam Control (HBC), Smart City Brake Support (SCBS), Distance Recognition Support System (DRSS) and Forward Obstruction Warning (FOW).
